You know he is thinking it.... by MintyMoog You know he is thinking it.... by MintyMoog
Cody Rhodes has one of, if not the best gimmick in the WWE right now. And why? Because he is Dr. Doom.

Seriously....think about it.

Guess that makes Rey Spider Man. Or Puck, but I can't remember Puck fighting Dr. Doom.

1.WELL DONE!! Cody has an excellent gimmick, the Dashing gimmick was like a copy of "The Model" Rick Martel
2. If Rhodes has the super villain gimmick, then Yoshi Tatsu should have a shonen manga hero gimmick
3. If WWE gets tired of "Only One can judge me" as Rhodes' theme, they should use the theme of Doctor Doom in Marvel vs Capcom 3 for Cody. [link]

Oh but I do love his current theme, seeing how it is just Smoke and Mirrors slowed down and the "OOOOH OH" is replaced with a panefull "Woooah oh" sound. If Cody ever "dies" in a match (like how Undertaker was burried alive or Paul Bearer was encased in concrete) and he eventually rises from the dead, or better yet explains that Randy Orton just killed a Rhodes-Bot, they need to have an entire funeral dirge theme with thousands of mesionic monks chanting in unison. Just think about it. Lemme paint a picture.

Cody Rhodes, comming to the ring on a floating throne, stoicly sipping out of a golden chalice as a hundred cloaked look alikes flank him. Smoke rolls in as he enters the ring to do battle with The Thing (An Orange Skip Shefield) Namor the Submariner (Randy Orton) and Spier-man (Evan Bourne). The Rhodes-bots fill the ring, and the three heroes have to fight back impossible odds. Suddenly, The Hulk(Green Big Show) and She Hulk (green Beth Pheonix) and Punisher (CM Punk...umm...pretty much the same) do a run in and save the day!

THAT, THAT IS THE MAIN EVEN OF NEXT WRESTLEMANIA! Call Vince and book it!

I also like his new theme. It's more like the themes used to be in the 80s and 90s and not the crappy rock garage bands.

By the way, I think Rey and Morrison are more suitable for being compared with Spiderman. Am I the only one who thinks WWE needs its own Luke Cage?
I wonder how will Yoshi Tatsu's gimmick: Tatsu should make references to popular mangas/animes (wrestling moves from Kinnikuman, for example)

If Yoshi starts pulling out Kinnikuman moves, then Wade Barret needs to become Robin Mask.

Not only Kinnikuman moves, moves of all Kinnikuman characters. And his taunts or quotes could be from other popular animes

Whoever he resembles, THE HURRICANE WILL BRING SWIFT JUSTICE TO THIS VILLAIN.

Man if only! I knew they tried to do that in the ECW reboot, but I think Cody is the first wrestler to get the Super Villian gimmick right.

WWE and comics? Makes me want to get WWE Heroes off my bookshelf. Not enough to read that piece of crap, hell no, but enough to make me look at it.

Because of Botchamania and the current slew of WWE comics, I really think "The Cheetahmen" would go over great asa tag team. Okay not really....

Shockingly, there were no Cheetahmen in the comics. I have the trade edition which features a few issues of the comic in one.

The plot: Triple H is a reborn demigod tasked with taking on a demonic cult that Chris Jericho is part of.
